aluplast has unveiled its new mechanically joined flush window, which promises to open-up new opportunities for fabricators and installers who are looking to capitalise on the trend for authentic timber window replacements.
The unique mechanical join is the result of a significant period of product development, and it allows fabricators to create a realistic finish without investing in specialist tools or machinery.
Coupled with the deep bottom rail and woodec (the next generation timber-effect foil), the new mechanically joined flush window marks a step change in authenticity, and gives homeowners the opportunity to confidently replace timber windows while benefiting from improved thermal performance and a lifetime of low maintenance.
The window can achieve a WER of A, allowing it to comfortably achieve Building Regulation compliance for refurbishment projects, and is manufactured using ecotech, which maximises the amount of recycled content in a profile’s design, without affecting performance.
“A genuine, easy-to-fabricate mechanically joined window is something of a holy grail in window fabrication,” aluplast’s Director of Sales and Marketing Ian Cocken said. “But, thanks to a unique design that we’ve been working on, we can offer our customers a solution that takes our existing popular flush sash to a new level.
“What’s more, they can achieve this authentic result without investing in specialist machinery or patented designs.”
The flush window can also be coupled with aluplast’s flush door to create a uniform appearance across the whole of the house.
“This sector is still growing considerably, and demand for flush windows and doors remains high,” Cocken said.
“Significantly, our product range allows fabricators to offer the full flush appearance. The flush casement is a modern success story, and its value is appreciated more if a flush appearance can be achieved across the whole elevation – including the doors. We understand this, and we are seeing demand increase rapidly.”
The new mechanically joined flush window and flush door is available now, and will be showcased on aluplast’s large stand at the FIT Show in May 2025.
